Sara Adan is a research associate at the Public Policy Institute of California and the PPIC Higher Education Center
. Her research interests include college readiness, college completion, and equity issues—in particular, closing achievement gaps. She came to PPIC with experience in both the administrative and research sides of education—she worked for a county office of education and various research organizations. She holds a master’s in public policy and administration from Sacramento State University and a bachelor’s of science in applied psychology from New York University.
